Update Due to Coronavirus

The Harbormaster’s Office remains closed to the public. We continue to work remotely at this time and can be reached by leaving a voicemail at 781-741-1450 or by emailing us at harbormaster@hpd.org. Email is the easiest and most efficient means of communication. Payments can be made online or postmarked to Hingham Harbormaster, 28 Shipyard Drive, Hingham, MA 02043. 

We are patrolling the waterways and the patrol boat can be reached on VHF 16 when it is underway. In the case of an emergency, please call 911.

The office of the Harbormaster operates year round performing various duties and services both on and off the water. 

Some of the Harbormaster's duties include, Harbor Planning and Management, Mooring and Dock Management, Law Enforcement on our waters, and Emergency Search and Rescue operations.
