Police Investigating Assault of Teenager

Hingham, MA – Police are investigating an assault on a teenage girl by a man on North Street Wednesday night. The man grabbed the girl, pulling her pants down. The girl fought back and the man ran away.

The incident occurred on January 18, 2017 at approximately 9:00pm as the girl walked near 16 North Street. The man came up behind her and pulled her pants down to her knees. The girl began screaming and kicking at the man. The man ran away on North Street toward Station Street. The girl ran into a business and reported the incident.

The man, who never spoke, was described as very skinny, approximately 5’5”, wearing tight black pants, a black sweatshirt and a black mask over his face.
