Police are investigating a report a man exposed himself in front of a
patron inside the Hingham Public Library Monday afternoon.
On
August 20, 2018 at 2:48pm Officers were dispatched to the Hingham Public Library
at 66 Leavitt Street for a report that a patron saw a man exposing his genitals.
The patron, a 29 year old woman, immediately left the area and reported the
incident to a staff member. When the patron returned to get her belongings, the
man was gone.
The man
is described as white, approximately 30-40 years old wearing an orange and
yellow plaid short sleeve shirt. It took place on the second floor near the
oversized book section at approximately 1:30pm. The patron had been seated at a
table and the man was sitting on the ground near several bookcases when he
exposed himself. He did not speak to her.
This remains
