Hingham, MA – A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV is currently under investigation.
On Monday, September 4, 2023 at 4:50pm Officers responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Beal St. near the intersection of North St. and West St. The motorcyclist was transported to South Shore Hospital but did not survive. The driver and passenger in the SUV were not injured.
Beal St. remained closed at North/West St. and at Fottler Rd. until 8pm. The crash is being investigated by Hingham Police, State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and State Troopers from the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
