Hingham, MA - A person was discovered deceased today in Bare Cove Park along the Back River. There is no danger to the public.
On Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 2:43pm Officers responded to Bare Cove Park for a report by a passerby of a person on the ground along the shoreline of the Back River. They found the person was deceased. Hingham Detectives and State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office responded. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case. There is no sign of foul play and there is no danger to the public.
Police closed Bare Cove Park during the investigation. All emergency personnel have cleared and the park has reopened. ### Contact P.I.O. Lt. Steven Dearth
