Situated within the Hingham Police Department, the Community Crisis Response Clinician co-responds with patrol officers to psychiatric and behavioral emergencies in the field.  The clinician provides initial crisis intervention services to individuals in need, along with crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up from initial intervention as appropriate.  The clinician is able to assist with support and resource information on mental health, substance abuse, victim assistance or crisis referral.
