License to Carry Appointment (Check back if all appointments are taken)

Full Description

All applicants (new and renewals) must fill out your LTC application and bring it with you to your appointment (do not email them or drop them off at the station).  

New applicants must also have your Firearms Safety Course certificate from an approved course. The Town of Hingham strongly suggests that applicants complete a LIVE FIRE course.

**Remember to bring applicable fees to your appointment in the form of either cash or a check/money order made payable to the Town of Hingham**


Please do not call the station or email looking for appointments (or with questions that can be answered by reading the information on this page, the Firearms Licensing section on our website, or the firearms section). Also, as it says on the Licensing section of our website, please do not call or email the Licensing Officers at their direct department email addresses or voicemails, all licensing questions should be directed to the Licensing Office phone and/or LTC email address.

Available time slots are listed under 'Open Sessions' with a button 'Register'.  If there are no appointments listed in that category, they have all been filled.   

Appointments will be posted on the first of each month, for that month only.  If all appointments are filled, please check the site at the same time the following month.  

Also** please note that appointments may appear visible under "Other Sessions" prior to the registration period opening, but they will not be available for booking until the registration period opens.  At which time, they will appear under "Open Sessions".
