Police Seeking Bank Robbery Suspect

Hingham, MA - Police are looking for a man who robbed the Rockland Trust Bank Saturday just before noon. The man passed a note to a teller and was given money. No weapon was involved.

On Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:44am a man walked into the Rockland Trust Bank at 100 Sgt. William B. Terry Dr. (in Lincoln Plaza) and handed the teller a note and a bag demanding money. After getting the money he left in a car parked nearby parking lot. The car left the lot turning right onto Sgt. William B. Terry Dr. headed toward Beal St. 

The suspect was a black male, in his 20's, 5' 6", 150 pounds, wearing all black clothing. He was wearing a black surgical type mask and black gloves. The car was a black Chevrolet sedan, possibly a Malibu, with an open sun roof.
