  • Town Pier will be closed on October 18th and removed the following day.

Public Access Facility - Boat Ramp

The public access facility will be closed for several hours during high tide on October 19th during the removal of the town pier floats, you should not plan to use the ramp.

  • Rental moorings will be decommissioned beginning in October.
  • Mooring reservations won't be accepted again until next Spring.

Permit Renewals

Next year's permit renewals will be sent out in early November. Be sure to look for your e-mail notification and renew your permit as soon as possible, as they are due before March 1. Docking applications received after March 1, are subject to a $50.00/month late fee. Late Mooring renewals will not be accepted and the location will be reassigned to a new applicant from the wait list.

Fall Weather

Please note the dates listed above are weather dependent and the scheduled activities could occur earlier. Fall storms can be very strong and damaging on the water and on the shore lines. If your boat is still in the water, be sure the bilge pump works and the battery is charged. If you keep kayaks or other small craft on the beaches they should be removed to avoid them becoming adrift during a storm or high tide. Plan accordingly and do not wait until the last minute.

Everyone at the Harbormaster's Office enjoyed serving you this season and we look forward to next season. We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable off season.
