There will be road closures with detour routes today (December 6) for the annual "Christmas in the Square" event in downtown Hingham. Detour routes will be posted. Drivers who use this route as part of a commute or those traveling through should stay on Route 3A to avoid delays. Also, please obey all posted temporary "No Parking" signs in place for the event.

-Main St. will close at Elm St. and at North St. at 4pm until 9pm.

-South St. will close at Central St. and at Main St. at 4pm until 9pm.

While North St. will remain open throughout the event, expect delays in this area. We've heard Santa will be arriving about 6:30pm.
