Hingham,
MA – A Hingham man was arrested today following an investigation and charged
with disseminating child pornography and possession of child pornography.
On June 1,
2018 Hingham Detectives were contacted by Cohasset Detectives after they learned
that child pornography had been uploaded in Hingham. On August 1, following a
two month investigation, Hingham Detectives obtained a search warrant for a Hingham
home.
On
August 3 at 8:47am Hingham Police Detectives, assisted by Cohasset Police Detectives
and Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Computer Crimes Unit, executed
a search warrant at a home at 20 Tower Brook Road.
Arrested
at the home was Anthony J. Buccitelli, age 70, of 20 Tower Brook Road, Hingham,
MA. He was charged with: 1) Distributing/Disseminating Material of Child in
Sexual Act (2) Possession of Child Pornography. After being booked, he was
arraigned August 3 at Hingham District Court. He was released on personal
recognizance with the condition that he have no unsupervised contact with any
children under the age of 18. He is due to return to court on September 12,
2018.
Several
items were seized from the home for further examination. This remains an open
