Hingham, MA - A home was broken into Saturday night on Harbor View Drive. The rear door had been forced open and items were stolen from a bedroom.
On October 19, 2019 at 8:10pm Officers responded to a home on Harbor View Drive in response to a residential alarm. They found the house in darkness and the front door open. The rear door was damaged and had been forced open. Jewelry boxes were found empty in a bedroom and one dresser drawer was taken. The homeowners are still determining if anything else was taken. Several window screens on the back of the house were cut but the windows were locked. It appears the suspect(s) were looking for an unlocked window but then entered through the rear door and fled out the front door.
